Plastic packaging is lightweight which helps in reducing weight in transportation and enables us to save fuel and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Plastic packaging extends the shelf life of healthful, nutritious foods, it is considered the most important contributors to protecting food from spoiling. A little bit of plastic packaging can prevent a whole lot of food waste, which is a huge environmental problem. It can also be recycled many times to create new products.
